As part of the Erasmus+ project “Digital Powered Teaching,” a virtual training and workshop will be held on October 23rd at 18:00 CET, organized by Cyprus (Perifereiako Gymnasio Akakiou). This session will bring together teachers from partner schools in Romania, Greece, Croatia, and Cyprus with the goal of expanding digital competencies across a broader group of educators.
The workshop will focus on two essential digital tools:
- Actionbound – a platform for creating interactive learning experiences such as scavenger hunts and quizzes
- Quizlet – a tool for learning and revision through customizable flashcards and educational games
These tutorials aim to equip teachers with the skills to create engaging, interactive lessons using these digital platforms. The workshop will also contribute to the planning of student workshops during their mobility program in Cyprus. It will lay the groundwork for incorporating the tools into the following teaching units:
- Designing interactive scavenger hunts with Actionbound
- Facilitating flashcard-based learning and collaboration with Quizlet
- Integrating digital activities into lessons using the presented tools
- Assessing students’ acquired competencies through interactive evaluations
This training will serve as a valuable resource for enhancing the teaching methods and digital proficiency of educators involved in the Erasmus+ project.
