Short-term exchange for group of students – teaching and learning activities in arts and technologies
Day 1
- Short program of students from host school
- Ice breaker games
- Student presentations about schools and local project activities
- Tour of the school – familiarization with the premises of the school, its organization, teachers and students
- Formation of international teams of students and informal gatherings of students to get to know each other
- Workshop for students – during the workshop, students were introduced to the WordPress tool and Elementor graphic editor for editing a website. Elementor is a visual editor used to edit your own pages on the project platform. Elementor is a drag and drop page builder for WordPress.

- How to exit the Elementor editor and sign out at the end of the editing process
- Cultural and educational visit to Zagreb. Getting to know the history and culture of the capital city through a professional tour of the old part of the city, the cathedral and the city center. During the educational visit, the students used digital devices and tools to collect digital materials that were used during the next workshops to create animations and thematic websites.
Day 2
- Educational visit to the Plitvice Lakes National Park. The park was entered on the UNESCO World Heritage List on October 26, 1979. This is the first area in the Republic of Croatia and among the first in the world to be included in the List for its natural values.
- Educational visit to Rastoke. In 1969, Rastoke was included in the Register of Immovable Cultural Monuments.
- During the educational visit, the students used digital devices and tools to collect digital materials that were used during the next workshops to create animations and thematic websites.
- Enviromenal video making workshop for students:
- Students learned how to create a storyboard to plan the structure and content of their video by using Videoleap application. They were guided through the process of animating characters, objects and text.
- They were encouraged to research environmental topics and analyze environmental problems in our national parks and local communities, and created a video in which they will propose 25 short suggestions that can be applied in everyday life to contribute to the preservation of the environment in our communities.
Day 3
- Educational visit and activities in the Poklon visitor center (Učka). Workshops and education of students through a multimedia experience on the importance of nature and the need for its active protection, understanding of environmental issues, sustainable practices and ecological initiatives in the park.
- Educational visit to the island of Krk. Through expert guidance and education, students learned about the ancient history and cultural significance of the largest Croatian island. During the educational visit, the students used digital devices and tools to collect digital materials that were used during the next workshops to create animations and thematic websites.
Day 4
- Workshops for students: Art class with the help of a digital application GIF Maker/Editor for the creation of artistic animations.
- Content of the workshop:
- Introduction to GIFs
- Creating GIFs
- Editing and Enhancing GIFs
- Sourcing and Sharing GIFs
- Understanding the basics of art animation design
- Incorporating visuals and interactivity
- Workshop for students – Thematic website design in international teams – Students used digital materials collected during educational trips and knowledge gained during the workshop on the application of the graphic editor application for web design Elementor.
- The students were guided how to design visually and content interesting websites by applying the tools of the graphic editor Elementor and the visual content collected during the educational visits. Working together in a team, they wrote descriptive textual content and designed the visual identity of their pages.
- Cultural and educational visit to Varaždin, the regional center of northwestern Croatia. Getting to know the history and culture of the city through a professional tour of the old part of the city, the castle, the cathedral, the city core, and the Croatian National Theater.
Day 5
- Knowledge quizzes in international teams about learned teaching content, learning new applications – JoePardyLabs, Plickers, Storyboardthat, Videoleap, cultural and historical concepts learned during the project week using the Socrative application.
- Evaluation: round up of acquired competences, feedback and discussions.
- Observing, discussions with the mentor
- Awarding of Europass Mobility Certificate and the Certificate of participation to
- Mobility week evaluation.
- Sports games
- Promotion of the campaign through social media and School web platforms.
