VIRTUAL WORKSHOP FOR STUDENTS IN HEALTH EDUCATION AND LANGUAGES

As part of the Erasmus+ Digital Powered Teaching project, a virtual workshop was held for students in partner countries (Romania, Greece, Croatia, and Cyprus) on 16th December 2024 at 11:00 CET.

The purpose of the workshop was to enhance students’ understanding of healthy habits and cultural traditions during the holidays while fostering digital literacy and international collaboration. Pedagogical concepts and digital tools were applied to engage students in interactive and creative activities.

During the workshop, language and health education activities were conducted using the following digital tools:

Actionbound – interactive learning and exploration tool
Students participated in a gamified learning experience, completing tasks such as quizzes on healthy holiday habits, cultural puzzles translating holiday greetings into multiple languages, and creative video challenges promoting wellness. These tasks encouraged teamwork, cultural exchange, and critical thinking.

Coggle – collaborative mind-mapping tool
Students worked in groups to create a festive mind map featuring holiday wishes and health-related tips. Each group added branches in their native language and English, contributing to a colorful and dynamic visual representation of their collective creativity.

The workshop was attended by students from partner countries and facilitated by teachers who were members of the project teams. The activities mirrored the interactive and collaborative curriculum applied during physical mobilities, ensuring continuity between virtual and in-person exchanges.
